1. Warm up
Circle of fifths is a good tool for warm-up exercises. Set up a stable tempo you like and repeat the same pattern and fingerings following the circle of fifths; C major-G major-D major-A major and so on. This exercise is completed when it comes back to the C major. Here is an exercise written in 4/4.
Tip: The pitch with the finger number 5 becomes the tonic of the next key.
Practice these exercises following the circle of fifths in the same manner.
